Miter Saw Fence Stop Block for EX 10 Series Extrusions

This miter saw flip-over fence stop block and knob can be used with EX 10 Series aluminum extrusion. I used the EX-1030 extrusion profile for my miter saw fence, which is 1" wide x 3" high. The EX-1030 product is an exact match for the product offer by 80/20 #1030, T-SLOTS #650001 & McMaster #47065T511.

These parts were design to accept threaded inserts that have ¼"-20 threads which works well with the T-Slot bolts you can buy online.

From the assembled picture of the fence-stop you can see there are 2 - ¼"-20 hardware bolts that go through the stop and into the thread inserts in the ends of the block, 1" bolts would be long enough to go through the fence-stop and into the threaded insert in the block, but then the bolts come loose as you move the fence-stop up and down, so by using ¼"-20 x 1-¼" bolts  they go through the thread insert in the block and continue into plastic which act like a nylon stop nut . This stops the bolts from coming loose but yet loose enough so you can move it freely. Note: Don't use a 1-½" bolts or they will hit the T-Bolt that goes through block and into the bottom of the knob.
