HEPA Filter H12/H13 (FC8038/01, 150x120x25mm) + Activated Carbon Filter Housing for 120mm Fan

I re-upload the model from Thingiverse as I've used it for my server rack based enclosure for the MK4, and it does its job very well. Full credits to the original author.

This is a housing for using FC8038/01 HEPA filters + compatible after-market pieces. These filters are used e.g. in Philips, AEG, Electrolux, Tornado, Volta brand vacuum cleaners and available at a decent price.

The housing also has space of up to 1cm for activated carbot filter mats to reduce odur when printing.

It consists of three parts:

• the case
• a grid to click into, where the filter mats lie upon
• and a bracket to hold the HEPA filter in place, secured by four screws.

Nothing needs to be glued, the grid is just clicked into the case.

A 120mm fan is used as blower.

Supports are only needed for the lock-in catch in the housing, so nearly nothing to remove afterwards. Print standing on the fan mount side.

Additional material:

• 4 x universal screws 3x10mm, flat head
• 120mm fan and according mounting materials with M4 diameter

I used PETG for printing and aimed more on speed than on beauty, but quality is o.k. for my use.

Das hier ist ein Gehäuse für die Nutzung von FC8038/01 HEPA-Filtern und kompatiblen Nachbauten. Diese Filter werden z.B. in Staubsaugern der Marken Philips, AEG, Electrolux, Tornado oder Volta genutzt und sind für einen günstigen Preis erhältlich.

Das Gehäuse bietet ebenfalls Platz für Aktivkohle-Filtermatten bis zu 1cm Dicke um Gerüche während des Druckens zu reduzieren.

Es besteht aus drei Teilen:

• dem Außengehäuse
• einem Gitter zum Einklicken, auf dem die Filtermatten liegen
• sowie einer Halteklammer für den HEPA-Filter, die mit vier Schrauben befestigt wird.
  Nichts muss geklebt werden, das Gitter wird nur in das Gehäuse geklickt.

Als Gebläse dient ein 120mm-Lüfter.

Supports werden nur für die Rastnasen im Gehäuse benötigt, dadurch ist anschließend kaum etwas zu entfernen. Gedruckt wird auf der Lüfter-Seite stehend.

Zusätzliche Materialien:

• 4x Universalschrauben 3x10mm, Flachkopf
• 120mm-Lüfter und entsprechendes Montagematerial mit M4-Durchmesser

Ich habe PETG zum Drucken genutzt und mehr auf Geschwindigkeit als auf Schönheit abgezielt, aber die Qualität reicht für meine Zwecke aus.
