Description
I wanted a phone holder that also worked with the adjustable thermometer bracket in my prusa enclosure. I also wanted a phone holder that is not going to get in the way when removing the printer from the enclosure. Rather than completely unscrewing the bracket, I designed the phone holder component to detach from the thermometer bracket. This also means the phone holder can be adjusted up to 25mm longer to work with bigger phones, if necessary.
Print at 0.2 layer height with 15% grid infill.
Printing suggestions:
Use PLA, PETG or ASA/ABS. If you print in your enclosure at high temperatures (e.g. ASA/ABS), you should probably not use PLA for this model… but you should probably not have your phone in there at high temperatures either! Be warned that if you use PLA for this model it may be harder to insert the thermometer-B part into the adjustable bracket.
There are sacrificial supports at various places near where the 45-degree support arm fits with the shelf. Easily removed. You probably want to use organic supports under the adjustable thermometer bracket. as the angle of the arms is very shallow. I tested making these arms solid but getting the thermometer-B part inserted was very tough.
This design was definitely inspired by @Marek's Prusa Enclosure Phone Holder and uses @Prusa3D's Adjustable Thermometer bracket for Original Prusa Enclosure as part of the model.
