Description

I have tried and liked the DIY coil cooling solutions on pinside (40mm fans zip tied to coils), but I prefer 60mm fans (quieter, more air), which don't attach as well directly to coil as 40.  So i designed these to more securely mount 60mm fans and maybe direct the air a little better.
The mount attaches to coil with a ziptie still. 1 will do, 2 will be a little more secure.  The mount has holes to screw the fan into.  You want a wood screw or something similar that will just barely bite into the plastic by a few mm. something too long will break the part.

I made these specifically for modern stern coils (around 35mm diameter). They will probably work on slightly skinnier coils.  The part is 40mm wide where it attaches to coil.

One nice thing about this design is you can rotate the mount around the coil to avoid things.

There's two versions. I recommend the shorter one unless you for some reason need more space then try the larger one.

Prints without support if you have good bridging. I did 3 perimeters 25% infill 0.3mm thick layers.

I did not make the grill. You can search for “60mm fan grill”, plenty of options.

For fans find the 12v 60mm fan of your choice.  You  can find cheap ones, but at $6 or so a pop sunon fans are nice (that's what the plug and play kits available use) try digikey or mouser for  HA60251V4
