Printing

It needs to be stiff, so print in PLA or ABS. PETG allows too much bending.

Hardware

• 2 M5x10 screws
• 2 M5 nuts (optional)
• 3 M4x18 screws (from original display).
• Creality Ender 3 LCD, cable, and metal case
• Tape (Parcel, duct, or “Heat-resistant Adhesive Cloth Fabric Tape”) to fix the cable to the inside of the case.
• Optional: LCD Cable Clips (Tighter version)

• Remove the drawer before trying to take off the bottom of the printer case to access the mainboard.😳

Firmware

After swapping out the display, you need to purchase, download and build TH3's unified firmware ($5). If your printer has the F4 chip you need to place the .bin file in a specific folder on the SD card or it will not update. Read the instructions they added to the Configuration.h file carefully.

If you try to build your own Marlin with the CR10_STOCK_DISPLAY, then the rotary knob will not work. TH3 has redefined the pins in the pins_CREALITY_V4.h file so that it will work. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the modified pins here.
