Disposable Lens Mount for Nikon N1 Mounts

A simple disposable lens mount for a Nikon camera using NIKKOR 1 lens mount. Also included is a STEP file so the end-user can modify it to accommodate various disposable lens types.

These lens and mount were tested with a Nikon J1. I believe the lens I have are Kodak FunSaver lens, but the lenses themselves were acquired second-hand, so I cannot verify the exact model of lens I tested with.

Printed with 100% gyroid infill and four walls, with interface facing down towards the bed.

Assembly Instructions

• The lens will be friction fit. Simply place, and use a soft rubber hammer or mallet to gently tap the lens into place. Fit the distance of the lens to achieve desired focus range. (Flush should give you 6ft to infinity, while 1mm recessed should give you 1ft to 5ft focus range.)
   

Photo Tips

• Shoot with 400 - 800 ISO depending on outdoor or indoor conditions respectively.
• A shutter speed between 1/160 to 1/200 works well in bright to lightly overcast outdoor conditions
• A shutter speed of 1/80 - 1/160 works better for overcast and shaded conditions
• A shutter speed of 1/40 - 1/60 works better for indoor conditions without flash.
• A shutter speed of 1/60 works best for indoor conditions with flash at close range (6ft).
• Using flash at anything less than 6ft may result in your photos getting washed out.
