K1 & K1 Max Stepper Pulley Remover

Stepper pulley remover for the K1 nd K1M stepper motors. This was designed in an effort to remove and replace the 36t pulleys on the stock steppers, this resulted in a shift that lowered the threshold of VFA from ~250mm/s to ~175mm/s.

We added 20t pulleys to replace the 36t and made the following printer.cfg changes as a result:

Rotation_distance: 40

Microsteps: 128

run_current: 1.4


Hardware Required:

- 1x M5x50 bolt

- 1x M5 Nut

Notes:

• This is meant to pair with a new gantry, the stock gantry will not properly work with a 20t pulley, but you can use a 28t pulley instead and configure the correct roatation distance.
• Slice with heavy gyroid infill >50% and many wall loops
• Go slow and use lubrication if needed as to not heat up the bolt/nut
• Tested with PLA only thus far
