Desk Name Plate Holder

A holder for 2'  x 8" x 1/16" name plate.

Actual length is 205 mm to prevent the nameplate from hanging over the edge which I feel is worse than a tiny bit longer. The fit is fairly loose to allow for imperfections or different thicknesses of name plates. To get around this you can either use some tack, a shim, or, if the nameplate material is heat resistant enough, use a heat gun to tighten the brackets down a bit on the plate after it's inserted.
