Description
I had bought a generic 12 port 1U 19in CAT5e patch panel for my home network (from Monoprice.com), and never got around to using it, as I had previously put in a 6x wall plate for the keystone jacks in the closet with all my network gear, cable modem, distribution panel for voice/data/coax, etc.
Instead of printing a model that someone else made, and buying some keystone plugs, I put together a quick model that the 3 piece 6port modules would mount to.
Test print in Prusament PLA. I had tried putting some numbers in the face, but they didn't look all that great in .3mm layers with the .6mm nozzle.
UPDATE: 16DEC23 Increased size of openings as the sleeves were bowing a bit.
UPDATE: 20DEC23 added a model with a center diagonal support with a short shelf, removed the shallow center/top/bottom stiffeners to better fit the modules
