Description
Support leg for the Anycubic Kobra 2 Roll Hoist. I liked the idea of the original model, but thought maybe I could improve it by resizing it so that the opposite side of the roll hoist that is unsupported would have a leg. I used epoxy and two long-ish M2 screws to mount the connector to the foot stem. If you print the connector with supports with the disc side up, you'll likely need to drill a couple of 1/16" screw holes in the connector. In order to make your drill point markers, screw two M2 screws into the foot stem until they just barely protrude from the other side, then snap the connector into place, aligning the top of the foot stem to the top of the connector. Strike the heads of the screws somewhat sharply with a hammer about 10-15 times. That should provide your drill point indicators.
Wrap a strip of the soft side of some Velcro around the disc and you should get a nice pressure fit and a level filament roll without putting undue pressure on the factory roll hoist stem.
