Description
This is a fix I came up with for the EnderXY kit that solves an issue with the Y endstop switch not being able to be triggered because the granty contacts the right tensioner.
I took the original X endstop bracket and modified it to add an adjustable arm to be able to reach the Y endstop switch. The X endstop bracket is thicker where is mounts to the granty, the PCB/endstop switch are still located in the original position which is why longer screws are needed.
You'll need:
Qty. 4 - M3x10 screws for the X endstop bracket and rear spacer plate (countersunk for DIN Socket Head Cap screws)
Qty. 2 - M3x8 screws for the Y endstop arm (can use button head screws if you so desire)
Since you'll be attaching the arm with screws into a printed part, over tightening will cause the screw to pull out. You only need it as tight as needed to prevent movement when it contacts the Y endstop switch.
Parts are oriented for printing and no support needed (the X endstop bracket parts were split to aid in printing)
Thanks to @Supavitax_238603 for the detailed CAD model of the EnderXY.
I do not know the license for the printed part model I modified from the kit, so I'll link to where I purchased the kit and their supplied models:
