Modular Vermicomposter - Worm Fortress 360 Remix GNAT Defense

I hate gnats. I'm under going a gnat infestation in my larger rubbermaid worm bin so I decided to make some modifications to the awesome original model to make it a fortress for worms. 

Modifications:

• Moved up the side ventilation holes near the top instead of the sides.
• Decreased the number of drainage holes at the bottom. 
• Added slots where you can glue fine mesh screen (I used 200 mesh wire screen) and use the optional covers to hide the mesh.
• Added holders to the corners to hold yellow sticky traps which you'll need to cut to fit into the slot.

Potential Upgrades:

• Adding sensors for moistures.
• Adding slots to place pins to know where last feeding was placed. 

Update

February 4, 2024 - I've had the worms in my bin and so far it's been going great. Initially there were no gnats in my bin while my whole place had swarms. I did notice the failing point is with the lid and it's seal around the bin. Had to duct tape it so no gnats can go in when I noticed a few flying out. Thinking of making a modified lid.
