Description
I wanted a quick test print that shows if a printer is ready to print, fast to print and is easily removable from the bed. So I made my own.
The Fasenplaettchen test slanted edges (a little), bridging (V3), first layer quality and flow (top layer quality). It prints in about 11 minutes on a standard Ender 3 (Pro) and uses about 12 cm of filament. Since it is also square, you can get a rough insight into the dimensional accuracy of your printer.
I mainly use it for flow calibration, by visually inspecting the quality of the top layer. You can also see if your linear/pressure advance needs adjusting, by inspecting the bottom layer of the V3. If you see too much material (and your z-axis is properly zeroed), check your linear advance. Check the dimensional accuracy by measuring edge to edge with calipers. The slanted edges keep the first layer squish from influencing the measurements.
