Description
I was at step 12 of Prusa Knowledge Base | 6. Electronics and MMU2S unit assembly (prusa3d.com) and I had the spring disappear somewhere in my room (there is no spare in the kit). I want to help others from suffering the same fate. I made a capture plate that will hold the screw and spring from coming out the top and also would not stop the screw from moving its full travel distance. I used jkzmath's Prusa i3 MK3S MMU2S SolidWorks Assembly (with STEP) by jzkmath - Thingiverse as reference for the MMU2S plastic parts. It would be better in the PRUSA Orange.
Material used: PETG Anthracite Grey PRM-PETG-ANT-1000
Update 2021 December 28 - Thanks to a commenters suggestion. I have made side windows so the screw/spring depth is visible.
