Description
For the MPCNC project: https://docs.v1e.com/mpcnc/intro/
When I built my MPCNC, I customized my foldable electronics-box design for the Jackpot CNC controller board. It has mounting PCB holes for M3 heatset inserts, and cutouts on one side to access the micro-usb port and the SD card slot on the Jackpot. This upload is the Jackpot-specific box (I will eventually clean up and upload the general-purpose box)
The other side has a mount space for a barrel jack, power switch, cooling fan, and an inlet for cables going into the box, and zip-tie mounts everywhere.
This only prints 5 sides. I have included a simple “top” for the box (the 6th side), but I found that to be a fun first-job project, to cut out the top from plywood once you have your MPCNC working (instead of printing it).
To see it in action, check out my MPCNC build-timelapse video on Youtube. It's a fun video in general, but the box in action is at 5:10:
