The Minimalistic Xbox Controller Stand by @agepbiz is quite nice. It offers a nice positive placement feel of the controller into the stand. It's also super minimalistic and perfect for modification. I was able to add slots for six AA batteries so gamers don't have to go hunting for batteries when running low.
Keep your new batteries “+” side out, and put your empty batteries “-” side out. This way you'll know when you are running low. Keeping the batteries in the base adds “heft” to the part which keeps it from sliding around as much when you grab the controller. They fit just snuggly enough (15.0mm dia holes for 14mm AA alkaline batteries). I did not try rechargeable or lithium but if they are in AA-spec they should fit.
Recommended layer height for a nice print: 0.2mm
