20 CM Vixen Style Telescope Dovetail

This is an original design I made for my telescope shop. Feel free to print it and give me feedback for suggestions. This model is printed in FormFutura Carbonfil (PETG with 15% carbon fiber re-enforced) I modeled M8 threads into this, but in the future, I will adjust it for threaded inserts. I am also going to add threaded holes to put a stopping screw to prevent the telescope from falling should it slide down the dovetail.

V2 just uploaded has markings to help in finding balance point of scope. I have added holes near the corners for safety screws, just use any small self-tapping screws and they should cut into the plastic with minimal effort. I have not tested printing V2

I have printed this with 3 perimeters, 8 top layers and 8 bottom layers and 25% cubic infill, which resulted in a very rigid and tough part. With these settings I have slammed it really hard against a granite step, stood on it while supporting it on each side and only got a minor dent on one side. I would trust this with my telescope. I printed this on a Creality K1 Max printer.
