Description
hThis box is intended to keep the violin microphone, it's adapter and the holder safe during transport.
The violin microphone is the t.bone Ovid System CC 100.
The adapter to attach it to the violin is the DPA VC4099.
I modeled those parts and created holders to store them:
The holders have two holes in the bottom to give them proper positioning in the box.
To keep everything safe, I remixed the fantastic Rugged Box by Whity resp. by Yanev to the desired inner dimensions of 170 mm x 170 mm x 45 mm. I used the V2 files and remixed them in onshape according to this great tutorial by TeachingTech. I didn't print a sealing…
I added some pins in the lower half two fix the adapters.
The upper lid is filled with some packing foam… nothing special.
Printed in PLA: “Tiefer Ozean” and “Gammlige Avocado” by Recycling Fabrik.
I'm not sure if the clips may need PETG for more stiffness. I will report here, if some reprinting will be necessary.
Six M3 x 30 Screws are needed.
You can remix or download the cad file from my onshape.
The version indication in my stl filenames corresponds to the onshape versions.
