Modifications for the Jakks Pacific 18" R2-D2 toy.

Shoulder pivot that allows 0 - 36 degree movement.
Uses 6mm plastic bbs for bearings, and assorted 3mm hardware. Still working out the details for making the shoulder rotate but will use a couple mini servos via linkage or geared.
Minor grinding of the shoulder required to allow movement and passage of wires. The ankles of the leg need to be cut and pivots printed to allow movement.
Files will be modified as I continue the build.
Jakks Pacific R2-D2 Scale
The Jakks Pacific R2 measures out at an almost perfect 40% scale of the full size R2. As with any Toy, some areas require tweaking of the scale to get a perfect fit
