The brackets are too wide and these bushes fill the gap.

Fitting Notes:

When fitting the rear seat leave all bolts loose until they are fitted through the bracket (with the rear frame off the bike) before finally tightening. Then fit the rear frame onto the bike.

When fitting the front seat, loosely fasten the bracket to the bike using a 70mm coach bolt, [added a picture for reference] (I filed the hole to fit the square shoulder of the bolt) then lower the front seat into place through the bracket and tighten, fasten springs to bike frame.
