5 NIS (shekel) coin for shopping cart

I never have change when I arrive at the grocery. So I simply printed a bunch of coins and threw them in my car/work bag.

WARNING: I am not responsible for them being jammed or stuck in the grocery cart. Use at your own risk. 

AITA WARNING: if you do NOT return the cart after use and just leave the coin in the cart YATA.

There are 2 models:

• the actual sized (one measured with calipers)
• a slightly larger one I used on my printer to print in PETG (ended up smaller in real life than the actual coin!)

Basically, print the actual sized one once and measure it to the model dimensions. If too small increase the dimensions and try again. Slightly bigger is better than slightly smaller.

• 23.5mm diameter - from edge to edge
• 2.2mm height

I also suggest PETG as in Israel PLA will slightly melt in the car and deform if left at certain angles.
