Penholder / Kugelschreiber Ständer

I always wanted to have a classic penholder. Like on the big desks of big bosses in the movies. This is the closest i got in my design. It holds my Lamy Ballpoint Pen. It has a ridge in it, so the tip is not compressed, but the pen is held in the middle.

I added a colorchange in the middle of the base, so i have this exclusive gold band. 

I used PLA, Das Filament Blue Pearl, the gold is 3DJake Ultra Satin Gold. WIth a 0.8mm nozzle with 0.4mm layerheight.

But is should look better with a smaller nozzle.

Update i did print it with a 0.4mm nozzle with variable layer height. Looks a bit cleaner.
