Description
I tried to fit a Beekman fibreglass canopy to the back of a 207 Ford Ranger XLT and found out that the bulky 3rd stop light / loadbin light was in the way and hitting the canopy at the top. Apparently some canopy manufacturers sell one but I could not get hold of it, so I made this. Use 2mm-3mm sealing foam between this and the cab to prevent moisture ingress and put a bit of sealant over the screw heads to protect them from the elements. I also made a channel on the underside to allow for a silicon bead if you wanted to stick it more permanently. I spray painted mine with some enamel white after sanding the top and priming it so it will last in the sun.
