3/4 Bench Dog with Brake

¾" Bench Dog

My simple Bench Dog design includes a recess for a brake pad that can be printed for boards that can't be clamped because of rounded edges, or irregular shapes. See the Bench Dog-Brake.stl file if want to give that a shot using TPU.

Bench Dog is best printed with ABS or PETG, 4 walls minimum,  25% or higher infill, but  you want to print horizontally with supports. While this is optional, it is much stronger.

The brake can be printed from TPU, 20% infill works, but I found 25% infill, with 3 top layers was good enough in many cases. It can be slippery though, so your mileage may vary. I am working on an updated version with ridges to help reduce the slipping.
