Description

This is in super early development. Once I confirm everything is hunky dorey, I'll remove this section. If you give it a go before I have a chance to update it, take it all with a pound of salt. I'm working things out as quickly as I can. I'll enclose it completely soon, I just wanted to see if this was a viable option.

Also, I found that the clips aren't really necessary. the fit around the PTC mounting ridge, you'll know what I mean when you get to it :). But, the clips are available if needed.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The first time I saw Elegoo's port in their cover for the air purifier, I vaguely remember thinking “damn, that would be a good way to attach a small heater”. Then I didn't really think much more of it. I didn't have a Elegoo printer at that time, but now I do. And now that I've had some meaty failed prints due to printer plate detachment as well as warping. I finally took the time to knock up a way to attach Photonsters PTC heater I made previously for other resin printers. Watch Vogman's video for a good idea on the electronics required.

This model should seal up relatively well against the cover while holding the screen to the side, which may or may not be beneficial to you depending on how you store your printer. I might try lengthening my wires and see if I can make a easier to access holder later down the track, but I think once you have your heater set up and running, you probably wont need to mess with the settings much. I'm still deciding on how to mount the connector for the power, personally I'm fine with it loose, but I may look at fixing it somewhere when I find the time.

I suggest printing the pins how I've laid them out. This should ensure they are plenty strong enough for the job. Just glue them into place in their respective slots and then clip onto the fan housing.
