Description
I've released a new, improved version of this container. Check it out here.
Note: this model MUST BE PRINTED IN VASE MODE. If you print it in normal mode, you're just going to get a solid cylinder.
This is a desiccant container designed to be printed in vase mode. It has a screw-top lid, which is very secure, that can be printed in the same print job as the container itself (on MK3).
Print settings:
Vase mode
0.3mm layer height
Use variable layer height to have much lower layer height on the threads (I cranked mine down to 0.07mm for maximum precision and greater vase mode success).
The included gcode file is compiled for Overture PETG. It may use higher temperatures than your brand wants, so I recommend starting from the .3mf file and using your own filament profile.
I recommend printing in transparent filament, so you can see the desiccants change color without having to open the container.
