Description
I love the idea of a wordclock but i don't liked the price of the original nor the very small letters of other models in the web. So i made my own - clean looking wordclock with big letters.
How to print?
→ Print the front cover upside down. You'll the clean surface of your PEI, PEO or PET sheet on the front. Here i really like to play with the sheets and colors. I will upload one make with the PEO sheet
→ The front layer is 2 layers thick. So black absorbes a lot of light. dark colors overall should work for the housing. Letters should be in white.
→ To be sure that everything has no holes or artifacts on the front increase the flow a little bit
→ You have two options to print:
Every letter is a seperate stl file (sorry, didn't got it into one). Just unzip the folder and drag all files together into the slicer. Then the slicer will ask to put them in as one body with several components. Accept this and all the letters will be properly together.
What material is needed [BOM]:
just add your wifi name and wifi password into the code (main.cpp) and flash the code onto the microcontroller. The programm will make a full show that you can see your soldering is working properly and then will blick red until wifi connection is there, then it will turn green.
After that every five minutes the clock will show the current time (only in 5 min steps).
And i know that i'm not a good coder - please don't blame me :)
