R2D2 Swag

Do you want to be the envy of all your coworkers when you show up to a department meeting with this bad boy on your laptop?  Are you a Star Wars fan who wants to let your geek flag fly?  Maybe you're tired of decals and stickers that get scratched up or peeling off.   I'm not judging - I am all of them…. and R2 is my favorite droid.  

This is an easy print.  Dimensions are 57mm x 88mm x 1.2mm.  Each layer is 0.4mm.  If printing at 0.2mm, just set a color change at layers 3 and 5.  Layer order starting from the bottom is white → black → blue.

Just attached it to your laptop with a regular elmers glue stick.  It will stay on without any issues and will peel off without causing any damage.  …. and unlike a decal, you can re-apply it to any flat surface that does not have prolonged exposure to UV rays… cause PLA.

Side note, I find it sticks better to flat surfaces if the bottom is smooth - so use a glass bed or the smooth side of your build plate if you have it.

***As a disclaimer, this started life as an image that I had downloaded at some point and have no idea where I got it from.  I threw it up into tinkercad and started working on layers to make it into a 2d plate.
