Description
I designed this little potion flask as a prop for my DnD-Campaign, but I could also think of other use cases, just be a little creative.
The glass-bottles I used can be ordered cheaply on Amazon. The 20ml capacity can easily be emptied in one sip, so I figured it's the ideal size, especially when you take into consideration, that, at least according to the DnD-Rules, you always have to consume the entire potion at once.
For the potion itself I decided to use Sprite for a non-alcoholic version, but any clear liquid will do.
I mixed it with glitter-foodcoloring to achieve the “magic” appearance. I used “Tenacious Teal” from “Glytter”, but others or even selfmade options should work out just as fine. (I noticed that carbonated liquids look really nice, because the bubbles disturb the glitter)
To mix your very own potion I recommend printing the ventilated funnel I included with the 3D-Files. It fits the small bottles perfectly and makes filling them up just so much easier.
Place the funnel in the bottle and fill it up with your beverage of choice.
The spoon I included with the files is sized perfectly for the right amount of powder nessecery to color the 20ml that fit into each of the bottles. Just pour it in and mix thoroughly. If you need to fill lots of potion flasks it might be easier to premix the beverage with the glitter in another glass and then pour into the separate bottles afterwards.
I have to be honest and say that I am not perfectly satisfied with the design of the cap yet, so there might be some changes coming in the future. I also included the .stp File of just the cap with a fitting thread so you can easily come up with you own design. I would really appreciate it, if you would post your own designs as a Make and Remix, so I can Link your creations in the description.
