Description
This is an attempt at a more practical sensor holding case for the add-e bike electrification system. The original sensor case requires you to carry a special micro torx driver around with you all the time to be able to change the button cell.
This improved design allows for tool-less battery changing. It also comes in several variations, to ease attachment to your individual bike frame. There are holding clamps available for standard 30-32mm hubs as well as for a Rohloff hub. The clamps are meant to be closed with an O-Ring.
Also the case is designed in a way that it can stay on the bike while you change the battery. So you can use sturdy cable ties to keep the case fastened to your bike. Extra XL variations of the case allow the use of ties up to 5.5mm wide.
Moreover, there are case variants that feature tie flaps 90° angled in comparison to the original, giving you the freedom to choose the orientation that fits your bike best.

Please note that some parts here must be printed with flexible filament (TPU). I recommend a variant as soft as possible. The samples in the photos that are coloured grey have been done with FlexiSmart TPU.
I also strongly recommend ABS or ABS+ for the other parts (black in the pictures). PLA can get brittle and break under Sunlight, possibly causing the loss of a precious sensor.
