Designed in the same way as the others to be a real world print that throws a correct Space Invader character shadow when positioned correctly to a bright light source.
I threw together a quick stand that also shows exactly what shadow the actual print creates when lit from above.

Notes:
This was hot off the printer and am sharing it to go with the other invader ship. It is all about the shadows.
It is a rendition designed from the original game shape outline to be printed in 3d form for the real world. The forward cannon area of the ship has a hole to take a strip of pla to hold a (not yet added) cannon shot. You can get the idea from the pics. The pla is thin enough that when placed correctly it doesn't throw a shadow that is visible enough to ruin the effect.
I printed this with the rear of the ship on the bed and it pointing straight up. This one obviously needs supports. I used tree supports and it went near perfect.
To be brutally honest with the space invaders, Nobody was more surprised than me that they actually printed as well as they did. They were more of a ‘can I create them’ thing over actually printing them at the time, so when I ended up with all 3 printed? Bonus. In reality I could have done a far better job had I been truly serious about them, but they were a bit of fun in a reddit conversation. Even in their current form they took way too long to create. All that is to say, they can be delicate after printing.
