The test piece is 0.50mm thick for examining the first two or three layers. First layer can be examined visually during the print. After printing one can measure the four corner pads with micrometer or vernier to check bed level. One can also try to pull apart each of the  four corner pads to check print integrity. A second file ("…with pillars") is provided allowing the ability to also check retraction in the same print. One pad has a clipped corner so that if you always place it in the same orientation on the bed you can easily and surely know/remeber how the four corner measurements actually align with the printer.
