This is a converter that helps switch the plastic 8-tooth gear on a VEX V5 motor to a .5" hex adapter used for flex wheels. It lets you use different types of shafts, like a .25" square one or a 6mm D-shaped one, allowing for a faster drive speed without going through the gearbox. However, it's only allowed for use in VEX U because of the rules about 3D printing in VRC.
