Description
I created these exit plugs to replace the ones that Repkord provides for their RepBox filament management box because the originals are very difficult to insert, even more difficult to remove, and often crack on the outer flange after insertion. My design is a two-part plug that is very easy to insert, very easy to remove, and can be reused over and over again!
To plug a 1/2" exit hole in your RepBox, push the larger part (plug) through the hole, then place the smaller part (cover) on the other side of the hole and slide it onto the plug until it clicks in place. Simply reverse the process to remove a plug. Plugs can be inserted with the cover on either side of the hole, except for the exit holes with the extra hexagonal cutouts - where the cover can only slide in place when on the round-hole side!
The provided STL file is intended to be printed in PLA (though PETG should also work fine) and does not require supports.
PrusaSlicer 3MF files are provided for generic PLA for 1 plug and also for 28 plugs (should be enough to fill all unused exit holes in your RepBox). G-code files are provided for the Original Prusa MK4.
The RepBox Exit Plugs seen in the photos were printed on an Original Prusa MK4 with iSanmate Black PLA with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm QUALITY layer height with a 25% gyroid infill and a concentric bottom fill pattern.
