Description
This is a simple holder for a 6" dado stack. It uses a 3" bolt in the middle to prevent layer separation and makes is it feel unnecessarily sturdy. The whole assembly consists of 3 pieces: the backer (which mounts to the wall and holds the bolt), the sleeve (this is essentially a sleeve that the dado blades rest against instead of the bolt) and the lid (which screws onto the outside and protects the blades and your fingers). You will need to tap the sleeve and lid with a 3/8-16 tap. The design calls for a 3" long 3/8-16" hex head bolt. The assembly bolts to the wall with #8 or #10 wood screw.
IGES and STEP files are included if you want to make modifications for different sizes.
