Description
My label printer was taking up too much space on my desk and I wanted to lift it above the labels themselves, so I designed this minimalist, easy to print label printer.
It's parametric so you can customize it to your specific flat label printer and height preferences, and the simple design doesn't waste filament.
The stock design is for a Polono 4x6 flat label printer at 220mm wide, 115mm deep, and for 110mm wide flat labels. Use the F3D file to adjust parameters in Fusion 360 to customize it for yourself. Also included the STEP file.
I kept mine very low, but I've included a taller option to store more labels (and possibly allow for an easier feed path—although I haven't had any issues with this design.). I also included “light” versions with holes to save on filament.
Print in whatever filament with your usual settings, this should be easy to print. Print with the raised back of the holder flat against the print bed. If you have issues with adhesion you may want to turn on an inner brim.
