Description

About 

Düdel was an idea formed from a late-night sketch of Braun's iconic L2 speaker. Modeled in Fusion360 and printed on the MK3s.

This model should be able to fit on the Prusa Mini too. Using Mechanism with a case size of 55x55x16mm. The hole for the clock mechanism is set to 9mm. The mechanism is slotted in place and secured in the model with a back panel, using X4 M3 bolts. The end cap for the mechanism was supplied in the package but you can simply model on up that would suit your mechanism :) 

As some shafts of the mechanisms may differ, a remix may be needed to thicken the clock hands cavity to fit your version. 

Materials

X4 M3 countersunk bolts required to attach the back panel to the main body.

Designed with the intent of using the Colorprint feature on Prusa Slicer. 

Printed with Prusament Galaxy Silver & Generic Orange/ Filamentum White/ Amolen Wood PLA.

Print instructions

Recommend printing most components @0.24-0.3mm layer height for time efficiency & using the color print feature in Prusa Slicer to be able to create the clock face with a color swap. 

The exterior panel was printed with Woodfill PLA with settings ticked for “avoid crossing perimeters” which will help with stringing issues. 

All seam positions have been set to the rear.
