Description
I designed this battery key for my Medtronic insulin pump (770/780G) because I never have a coin nearby and I don't use the pump clip that came with the device.
Modeled loosely after the late Wilford Brimley's iconic mustache and glasses from the “diabeetus” commercials he used to star in.
This model was designed with OnShape, a free cad web program. If you want to view and customize the model, here is the link: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/c8d10f302d4460d7dcdb43a7/w/b28e3c130db6cbef8164d207/e/d0dc4d253ad82db26f61556c
To properly print the glasses, you may need to enable thin walls (Cura setting) or change the wall thickness so the glasses are ignored or left unprinted.
I would also suggest enabling ironing and be sure it isn't set to top layer only.
The model in the picture was printed using 6g of dual color eryone silk PLA. My ender 3 took about 30 minutes to print with basic .2mm “quality”
