Description
I bought a Bosch MUM5 kitchen machine with a pasta maker attachment. This produces a ribbon of >120 mm width … so I wanted to adapt the OpenSCAD script by user Avirtuos to fit these dimensions. However, that script only gives the impression of flexibility … due to the code being undocumented and quite buggy, the process of adapting it was quite frustrating.
I got it working in the end for my needs - but for my needs only. So if you want to make further changes, please expect hard work and frustration 😉
Set the MUM5 pasta maker attachment to a thickness of 2 (max. 3), put the first ribbon of dough on the ravioli press and force the dough in with a rolling pin. Use copious amounts of flour on the ravioli press and the side of the dough facing the press. Press also must be completely dry!
Use the mold tray to create indents. Fill each indent with one tablespoon of filling, don't use too much, don't drip on the seams. Put second ribbon of dough on the press and force everything together with the rolling pin. Put additional flour on the side of dough now facing up. Put press carefully upside-down on a kitchen towel and, from the back, carefully ease out the ravioli. If the ravioli are hard to remove, increase usage of flour, push harder on the rolling pin and/or keep press dry.
Let the ravioli dry for some time on the towel before boiling them.
