3D Printer Enclosure - 24x24x30in

This is my custom 3D printer enclosure. The interior dimensions are a 24inx24in base and 30in height. My goal was to fit my Ender 3 Pro, with every printed part small enough to be printed on that machine, and in a standard size that was easy to find affordable materials to supplement the printed parts.

This was designed to have 1mm clear sheets as the sides and top, with 1/2in wooden dowels through all of the frame, and 3/8 dowels in the frames of the doors, and the baseplate is a 24x24" piece of 1/2" plywood

-Double opening doors, with lift-off hinges so they can be removed/stored when greater access is needed. and there is a support along the bottom to prevent sag over time.

• Switch panel integrated into forward-right side to control circulation fan and internal lighting
• magnetic cord management panels along edges to conceal all wiring where possible
• LED light mount in center of top-rear edge
• Enclosure uses standard 120mm PC fan that is removable and exhausts thru 5"? carbon removable filter. While the enclosure is not explicitly air-tight, this is meant to have tight enough clearance to provide constant negative pressure to pull in fresh air through cracks and exhaust any particles through filter.

• Designed for 24x24x30" dimensions, but a larger enclosure can potentially be made (in multiples of 6") just by printing more of the "straight" edge pieces (as long as you can find larger side panels/dowels to match). You may, however, have to edit the size of the front doors.
