Description
our new Remote-Controlled Stunt Racer 42095 (lego technic) has quite some power and fun, but drives horribly bad on stone floors. it uses 2x 30 of the lego technic big caterpillar chain elements, that have holes for some rubber feet that lego sells separately and that are single studs. so instead of buying 30 or 60 of these LEGO Einzelteil 24375, that are nowhere in stock in Switzerland and quite expensive (60x → 30 CHF, ⅓ of the original model), i decided to model a better, wider foot, that can be plugged in each chain element, or as decoration/plugs for lego technic bricks. the result is excellent traction on the stone floor.
blender, dimensions for the “studs” i took from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4256964 , foot is made the size to fit the original lego chain ideally for driving it as caterpillar vehicles but could be used also for other things.
