Formicarium / Ant enclosure

The formicarium is made for a tube size of 16.3mm !
Lid dimensions: 96,4x67,8x2 mm

For the complete assembly of the formicarium, a magnetic tape of 2 mm is needed (depending on how thick you use the glass) and a suitable adhesive to allow a secure connection of the individual parts.

Innovative design with detailed security
The formicarium is equipped with a specialised ventilation system with triple security to prevent ants from escaping. Thanks to the combination of a grid, wadding and an additional grid, you can set the ideal ventilation density for your particular ant species.

A handy water reservoir
The water supply is easily accessible and drawn from a tube. You don't have to worry about whether your ants have enough water. And if the water changes, the tube can simply be removed and replaced.

Robust material for long life
Our formicarium is printed from high-quality PETG material, which ensures durability and resistance to external influences.

Easy maintenance and observation
The formicarium is equipped with a magnetic lid that can be easily opened and closed. This allows easy access for feeding and maintenance. The formicarium also includes a handy feeding tray for mealworm and sugar water to make feeding your ants easier.

Suitable for a variety of ant species
Thanks to the possibility to adjust the ventilation density, our formicarium is suitable for a wide range of ant species. No matter if you keep small species or larger species.

Please note: The opening mechanism of the magnetic lid is not yet complete. Until this mechanism is fully implemented, I use a string in the ant-proof section to open the lid.
