Description
This hyperpixel cyberdeck uses a few parts I had sitting around. There are a few components to this, along with a couple custom PCBs for usb cable minification. All usb is 2.0 on this build. The power / battery pisugar board has been HEAVILY modified to keep the build as slim as possible. I removed the included pisugar battery, soldered a jst connector + dupont silicon wires to the required pads for an external momentary button to use as a power switch.
You may need custom pcbs for the male and female usb-c breakouts. If needed, those can be printed by pcbway or jlcpcb.
You'd probably need to redesign the top half if you want something that will work with the hyperpixel 4 or hyperpixel 4 square. I glued some ~4mm hex standoffs under the pi zero so screws would go all the way through, and keep the pisugar pressed on top of the gpio pins.
Note: if you have a hyperpixel 3.5 and try to assemble this, keep in mind that the screen driver is not supported by any version of debian higher than buster.
