Description
Easy to use - slide over the tube, align tube centreline with notches on the end, and clamp.
Then drill the holes carefully - inserting a long steel rule into the tube is a good idea to avoid the possibility of over-drilling through both sides of the tube!
Designed for use with long 0.25" (BS-3) centre drills, eg:
https://www.zoro.co.uk/shop/tools-and-machining/centre-drills/bs3-x-4inch-ex-length-centre-drill/p/ZT1143368X
I found this size when deburred was pretty much perfect for a snug fit on the bottle bosses I was using.
Requires:
6.35mmID, ~16mm total length drill bushes, eg: https://www.boneham.co.uk/drill-bushes/headed-press-fit-drill-jig-bushes/drill-id-size-range-6-10mm-8-00mm-ph12-12mm-od-ph12
(Configured Part Number: PH12FG2G)
M6 hardware - I used some M6 connection nuts bonded into the lower, some lengths of M6 stud with grubscrews to secure into the connection nut - and knurled thumb nuts for the clamping.
