Description
This spiral pencil fits into the corkscrew on a Swiss Army Knife. A standard 0.7mm piece of pencil lead (there is now also a 2mm one) is inserted into a small, slotted hole in the pointy end. While not very big, the spiralized surface gives the pencil a remarkably stable grip.
When worn down or broken, the tip of a small knife blade (which you probably have handy…) can be used to push the lead up and out.
The best way to load lead into the pencil without breaking it is to inject it with a mechanical propelling pencil, and delicately cut to the desired length with your Prusa nippers.
Fits Victorinox fine. I'm afraid I don't have a Wenger with a corkscrew to try out but I'm told they're virtually identical.
