Low-Friction Spool Holder for Prusa Original Enclosure

Remixed model of spool holder for Original Prusa Enclosure with inserted pair of 608 ball bearing to reduce friction. This is the right variant, for left mounting just mirror the base.stl model. The cap.stl and cap2.stl are optional but cap2 will help you to hold the nut in place.

Printed from Prusament PETG Galaxy Black with 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layer, 5 perimeters, 20% infill. Rotate each model with the most flat side at the bottom if not already done, spacer and body printed vertically.

To mount the spool holder you will need:

• 608 ball bearing (2x)
• M8 x 140 mm DIN 603 carriage bolt (1x)
• M8 washer (1x)
• M8 nut (1x)
• M3x8 screw (2x)

For completion see the pictures. Insert spacer inside body before inserting the ball bearing from both sides.
