Description
After making the riser/vent for my P1S, I figured I could just cut it down to use as a LED mount for my P1P. Turns out it wasn't quite that easy, as the top of the P1P is different than the S because it doesn't have to hold a lid. Once I redid the cutout on it, I cut it down short and redid the dovetails. Now it's just a simple LED strip holder. It's made for the neon LED strip like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BB724ZS9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 but it probably will work for other LED strips. Any thin double sided tape should work; I used ½" superglue tape.
This is an uncomplicated, quick print of only 4 sections that snap together easily. It can be done in 2 prints as seen the 3mf file in under 7 hours at standard speed. Print them upside down and there's no need for supports. I'm making the walls 3 loops thick to help support the joints. I've done mine in PETG but PLA should work great too. The joints have matching letters etched on the inside to help prevent confusion. There's a 4mm cutout in the back to run a USB cable from the LEDs through.
My goal was to keep this as simple as possible, but I did add an alternative set of front quarters that would take a 1x4 Clickfinity Refined baseplate on each side. Snap them in and you can add some bins or holders on top. I've also included taller blank plates that are able to be modified for however you want.
