Description
I needed some additional light for my scanning setup and I had these 10mm Sylvania light strips (probably purchased from Costco) on my parts shelf. Not only were they too harsh, even when dimmed, to provide the light I needed, the self-adhesive back wasn't.
I tried a few different filament colors - clear PLA, two different white PLA's, and a glow in the dark PLA. Ultimately I decided on the glow in the dark because I just like glow in dark stuff. I printed them on the non-textured side of a PEI magnetic plate on my S1Pro. I tried both lines and concentric bottom layers and found I liked the diffusion from the lines better.
There are four tabs with countersunk holes for screws. I think they're stiff enough for a single screw to hold them in place, but I believe oversized covers everything.
