Description
Hi this is my shower basket that I designed to fit my shower. It prints fairly easy although it is not optimised and might get a little tweaking in the future. It needs supports for the hook.
The height is 248mm so it should technically be able to print it with any printer that has a 250mm height restriction. My Bambulab P1S has a 256mm restriction so I cannot test it on printers that have slightly less build height like the Prusa MK4.
The wall thickness is 1.6 mm for the front and 2.4mm for the back to make sure the back and the hook are well supported. IMPORTANT: use 3 wall loops, so that the back wall is solid fill and not sparse infill (makes printing smoother in my opinion)
I've been using this model for a few of months now and it is always filled with shower gel tubes and shampoo bottles. It still holds up well and doesn't show any signs of stress or tear.
I've used SUNLU PLA+ blue grey for my print just to give it a bit more stability. I haven't tested it with regular PLA yet.
