Description
A static grass applicator is a required tool to create good looking dioramas. Unfortunately professional ones are very expensive, so I made my own.
Required parts:
Assembly is fairly straight forward. Print all 5 parts, in PLA, PETG, ASA, … They should all be oriented in the stl already and do not require supports.
Simply glue the handle to the shaker body with some superglue, using the alignment plug to ensure the handle is nicely centered.
If you want, you can glue the alignment plug in place from the bottom, but this isn't required.
Put the rubber o-ring around the groove in the handle cap to allow it to snap into place.
Then simply thread the positive wire from the handle through the hole and connect it to the mesh.
